Description
The proposed conference will provide a forum for representatives of research institutions, industry, governments and public organizations to discuss the issues associated with ecological and informational safety with a special focus on Far East Region. During the conference a number of the topics will be discussed. Among them : Problems of environmental terrorism and Ecological safety during the process of RW and SNF treatment, Informational safety, Issues related to the basic principals of the nuclear non-proliferation and nuclear transparency, monitoring of radiation facilities in the Far East region.
It is planned that during the conference specialists will discussed some concepts for Nuclear Transparency Cooperation between the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific and Russian authorities in the Far Eastern Region of Russia. Russian representatives will presented an overview of the Russian Federation automatic control system of the environmental and radiation safety. The proposals for the monitoring for Far eastern shipyard “Zvezda” and Minatom enterprise “DalRAO” will be also be presented.
Expected number of participants: 250 including 80 from abroad.
