Patenting Support

The Program goal is to provide financial support to the institutes participating in the ISTC projects. Program funds are used to pay costs associated with the initial stages of patenting in order to facilitate further national patent application processing at the territory of the ISTC Parties.

Project managers routinely inform the Center of any patenting activity associated with an ISTC project and may submit an application for patent support in accordance with the procedures developed by the ISTC. A Patent Review Committee periodically reviews applications and reports on progress made in supporting patent applications.
